Magick can be dangerous. If you are a child, come off this site now. If you are not serious about joining the occult , then i suggest that you leavve. It is the sort of thing that you can either be in or out of. Do not dabble. Now take this advice now, before you become to involved. Magick will only work if you belive that it will. It's now use learning how to do it, if you don't belive in it.
I hate to say it, but this path is not going to be easy. Before you can start practicing spells, you need to have understood the basics. I suggest that you learn to meditate, and if possible to take up yoga or somthing like that. if you cannot meditate, then you won't get very far.
Once you have masterd meditation, you can move onto dream recall. Basicly, before you go to bed, you get a pen and some paper and put it on your bedside table. As you are drifting off to sleep, be saying to yourself "(name) after every dream, you will wake up and write down what happens". If you're one of these people (like myself) who just can't be bothered to repeat that until they drift off to sleep, may I suggest that you buy an ipod, or an MP3 player, because that way, you could play a recording of yourself rather than have to actually say it. (Make it about half an hour long, so you have plenty of time to get to sleep, and take in the information.
It basicly hypnotises you into waking up after every dream, so you can write it down. Study your dreams, look for paterns. Write down if they are in colour or black and white. evaluate them, see if you can find meaning behind them.
After about a month of this, you can move on astral projection, but only move on when you feel that you are ready.
In order to live to be a powerful sorcerer (or whatever title you want to have), you need to have a great knowlege of other subjects, especialy religion. Read books, look on the internet, only when you have reasearched every religion that springs to mind (in depth) will you be powerful, because you will have a greater understanding of the people around you.
You need to study science, to understand the life around you, you need to study history, understand the ethics and morals of war, and why people do things etc…And generally whatever else you feel will assist you in your new life as an occultist. Do not forget to keep meditating and to do the occasional dream recall. (say once a week.)
You have come to the stage now , where you are ready to try your first spell. I suggest something simple, like a protection spell. If you do not feel ready to cast a spell yet, then feel free to carry on with steps 1 and 2 for a little while longer. I do not publish spells on my sight, because of the fear that young children may come across them, and kill themselves trying to do it. You will be able to find them anywhere: in books, on the internet, anywhere. hopefully you will have bought some books on the occult now, (you can buy them at most bookshops) so there should be some in there.
Once you are confident dooing spells, you will be able to intergrate them with your everyday life, but remember:
IF YOU CAST BLACK MAGICK OUT, IT WILL COME BACK TO GET YOU!
